True German Bar. Most of the staff only speaks a little of English (from my experience) If you don’t have reservations, there are open outside benches that you can share with other people (first come first serve). Cream cheese appetizer: 1 star, not my flavor profile. Bread was good though Pork knuckle: 5 stars, super crispy exterior, tender and moist meat on the inside Shnitzel: 5 stars, the pork itself was good, but the true star of that dish were the potatoes! Carmelized and crispy edges and tons of flavor Would come back!

I ate at this restaurant after seeing a YouTuber eat here. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but I was able to find a seat with other customers. My meal consisted of two Frankfurters with potato salad and pudding for dessert. The Frankfurters had the snap that you look for in a good hot dog. Potato salad was great. I also really enjoyed my chocolate/vanilla pudding. Near the end of the night I was lucky enough to try apple wine with some locals. Would definitely eat here again.

We didn't make a reservation so really appreciated their effort to try to fit us in, although we had to share the smoking area. Inside it was packed with locals! We had the pork knuckle and schnitzel with green sauce. Apfelwine pairs really well with the hearty greasy food 🍎
